Active Ingredient: Praziquantel
Description: White tablets
Interactions:
Administrate simultaneously with albendazole, dexamethasone will decrease the concentration of praziquantel in blood.
Indications: Anti-Helminthiases drugs, mainly for Schistosomiasis, Taeniasis, and Cysticercosis.
Administration and Dosage: Base on Praziquantel, Oral.
Cattle, sheep and pigs: 0.5-1.75 tablets/10 kgs (BW)
Dog and Cat: 0.125-0.25 tablets/10 kgs (BW)
Poultry: 0.5-1 tablet/10 Kgs (BW)
Adverse reactions:
1. With high dose, Cattle’s seropropane aminotransferase may occasionally increase lightly. Body temperature rising, muscle tremor and flatulence may appear in some cattle.
2. Anorexia, vomiting , diarrhea occasionally occur in dog, but the incidence is less than 5%. Adverse reaction in cat is rare.
Precautions:
1. Administrate careful for kitten less than 4 weeks old and puppy less than 6 weeks old.
2. The product of combination of praziquantel and febantel can be used for all ages
of dogs and cats and even during the pregnant period.
